Earlier today, it was announced that all 43 ministers of President Muhammadu Buhari donated 50% of their March 2020 salary to support the Federal Government's efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

This information was made available to the general public through a statement issued in Abuja by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Muhammed. He praised the Minister of State for Transportation, Senator Gbemisola Saraki, who coordinated the donations. He described the donations as a gesture of solidarity and support for the Federal Government's efforts to tackle the disease.

Nigerians were quick to respond to the news via social media. Some believe it is a good move while others question the authenticity of the donations. Others wants others to join in contributing to the fight against the disease.
